Monitoring the performance of cloud-based systems using the provider’s tools can be expensive and rarely tells you everything you need to know.

As cloud-based systems are not located on-premise, any connection to them might be made over the unsecured public internet. ServerInternals enables secure and verified connections to remote systems through the use of Windows Remote Management (WinRM).
With support for both normal and secure protocol variants, with a suitable certificate installed on the remote server, it is possible to verify that the destination system is indeed the one it claims to be.
To further enhance security when connecting using either WinRM or to an installed collector, all connections are outbound-only over a single TCP port and all network traffic is encrypted.
